Claim Your Campus began in 2003, as an idea between two youth workers from Grand Rapids, MI and Denver, CO.  One of them, Jeff Eckart, felt the call of God to pursue the vision of students praying on their campus around the country.  Having been in local youth ministry for 20 years, Jeff left a student ministry position at a mega-church to pursue this calling.  He has a Master of Divinity Degree in ministry, taught ministry courses at a college, is an ordained minister, and has held national positions in ministry leadership.  Here’s what others are saying about Claim Your Campus and Jeff’s leadership:
